Material & quality
Cast acrylic, laser-cut with polished edges. Roughly half the weight of glass at the same size.

Safety
Far more impact-resistant than glass and much less likely to shatter — which is why it’s preferred for tabletop and buffet service where glass would be a liability.

Feel
Smooth and light, warmer to the touch than glass.
